Geauga County is actually one of the wealthiest of Ohio’s 88 counties, which means it should be a great place to land a decent bachelor! Living in a rural setting makes it fairly difficult for single women to meet eligible bachelors. This is mostly due to a lack of heavily populated social settings. People in the city have large meeting places like the mall, where at any given moment there could be hundreds of eligible singles rambling along just waiting to meet that someone special.
Now be aware I am writing this article on where to find men in Geauga County because i wanted to give the article a specific drag by showing the women who are reading this article how the rural dating scene works from a mans perspective. Three reasons, first I just did the same thing on where to meet single ladies in Geauga County, second I know a lot of single men, and lastly I am getting paid to write this!
The single men I know of are usually out in the county keeping busy trying to make a living, and we have specific places that we love to visit, and these are the secret places which I will be discussing here. Most are open to the public, and many would be very pleased to see some single ladies stopping in to check out the business and the single men there as well.
Ladies if you like men who are athletic, and would be interested in joining them in the pursuit of their hobby, you can always find available men at the Golf Dome, Miniature Golf, and Batting Cages in Bainbridge. This is a place where you can chat with a dude about maybe improving your golf swing, how to make solid contact with the bat, or discuss the best angle for getting a hole in one. If things work out nicely there is even a cinema in the same parking lot, and a nice petite ice cream store across the street when in season.
You can come by a handy and mechanical single man at any of the auto parts stores in town, bearing in mind we are happy to show off our many talents. So be obvious to ask us something technical and you can find a conversation going based on car stuff and then if there is interest you can move on from there. For example ask us where the spark plugs are on your car, and if the guy is wise about meeting ladies, and also knows where the plugs are, he will be happy to show you under the hood of your car. Next thing you know he is offering to reveal you the dipstick and he is offering to change your fluids.
There are many great coffee shops where a woman can meet up with a single man in Geauga County, and some of my favorites are; Coffee Corners and Antiques in Burton, Arabica in Chesterland, and Center Perk in Chardon on Center Street. These are very nice places where any woman can go to meet a nice single man.
You can always find decent hardworking single men at volunteering and charitable events. Try the Habitat Geauga office on route 87 in Newbury. Don’t forget about the local churches in Geauga County, there are always decent available men at church.
If you are a single parent, you can go to all kinds of school functions and meet single moms, and if you are really lucky maybe run into a single teacher or two. If you enjoy music and Karaoke you could visit the Hickory Lake Inn on a Friday or Saturday Night, and maybe you will meet a nice single guy. The place is a enormous restaurant and bar so there is almost always some single guys in there having dinner and a drink after work.
Supply stores like Western Reserve Farm Co-Op, and the Tractor Supply store are great places to meet single men, and there is always one or two of them in the store all the time. These stores offers so many different things that they can procedure a widely varied crowd of handy men. So if you have some home repair project you need relieve with, go to these kinds of places and chat up the single guy over by the plumbing supplies. Also places like Turneys Hardware, Home Depot, and Sears Hardware are all good places to meet single men.
The grocery store is mild a vast place to fetch available men. Admit it ladies you love a good refurbishing project, especially if he is a ruggedly handsome looking dude, or he is just plain cute.
There are always single men at the Great Lake Outdoor Supply on route 608 in Middlefield, and it is right next to an auto parts store, so you can get twice the exposure in one stop! Great Lake is always busy with hunters of all shapes and sizes. There are tons of single men who attend the big events events in Geauga County where there are always a lot of people such as, the Geauga County Maple festival, the Great Geauga County Fair, and the on-going auctions at the Middlefield Sale Barn on Nauvoo road in Middlefield.
The best thing you can do is network with other single men and women, try joining something like Facebook, and don’t be afraid to talk to people in the store, post office, pharmacy, bank or gas station.
